Fa'e: Koloa Jewellery x Ebonie (Fele Home)

Our latest collection is made with beautiful pieces gifted to us in our ongoing collaboration and learning with our friend and fele artist Ebonie (@fele_home). These feta’aki and masi panels have been marked in various Lei/kahoa inspired patterning using kesakesa method (through one time use hand cut stencil like works) & soft painted tones. 

This collection is called Fa'e and recognises the huge role that our mothers, friends, sisters, cousins, mehikitanga, aunties, caregivers, nurturers, and fa'e tangata play in our lives. We honour their work and sacrifices, their love and commitment to us.

This collection acknowledges the ongoing conversations and exchange of ideas that we’ve enjoyed through this making that's unfolded over the years we've been working together. These have connected our homes within the rhythms of our families and wider fatongia - contributing to such an enjoyable creative exchange and lifelong friendships and connection.
