Our pieces are made by hand by us. Each one is unique and intended to showcase the skill of Pacific artisans. 

These necklaces feature the work of Doron Semu as part of a collaboration entitled Musumusu.

Doron Semu (He/They) is a Siapo maker of Sāmoan/Palagi descent, hailing from the villages of Salelesi, Falelatai, Falelima and Asau @o.ai.lou.igoa

As Siapo was once a declining practice, Doron imagines a future where every home and Sāmoan will be adorned in our own patterns and cloth. Through his use of Siapo Mamanu and workshops, Doron tells stories of increased visibility and representation of MVPFAFF+ Pasifika Rainbow joy. Doron’s practice is centred on creating a safer community for Pasifika Rainbow and expanding the community of Siapo makers in Aotearoa.

Any minor imperfections in the resin piece are part of the natural handmade process and add to the uniqueness.

The resin pieces are between 3 and 3.8cm long; the chain is gold plated stainless steel and 50cm long. All findings are hypoallergenic.
